But what is a kernel? Simply put, for those who do not know it, the kernel is the foundation on which an operating system is built: it manages through the software the hardware compartment of a device, checking that everything works perfectly.
The fact that Xiaomi has released the kernel compilation code for Redmi Notes means that nowadays the various developers and developers will be able to try to make improvements to the already good MIUI rom or even build a new one. The possibilities are endless.
