The long-awaited moment that many have been waiting for has finally come as, after the succession of various halls of the corridor, the Xiaomi Mi 5S is about to become reality. In fact, in addition to its existence, today we can finally mark on the calendar also its presentation date which, following in the footsteps of Xiaomi, will not be revealed immediately but which will be revealed to you immediately after this wonderful timeline that includes smartphones. of the Mi series that have marked the history of the company.
The company's first Mi smartphone was the Xiaomi Mi 1, equipped with a 4-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 dual-core CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, 8 MP rear camera and 2 front camera MP and 1900 mAh battery, all offered at a very competitive price for those times, that is 1999 Yuan (€ 267). He was succeeded by the Xiaomi Mi 2 which practically doubled the specifications of its predecessor.
The next generation saw the Xiaomi Mi 3 as the protagonist, which brought a substantial increase in performance thanks to the Snapdragon 800, the adoption of a full-HD resolution display and the implementation (for the first time) of a non-removable 3050 battery. mAh. It was succeeded by the Xiaomi Mi 4, in which what was lacking in its predecessor was implemented, namely support for 4G LTE, in addition to the fact that it was the first flagship to have more variants (Mi 4C, Mi 4i, etc.), due partly also due to the lack of a compact top of the range for the following year.
To compensate for the lack of a top range for the 2015, Xiaomi opted for the introduction of a new smartphone segment from the top specifications that the company would represent, the Mi Note series. The latter was offered in two different versions, of which a "standard" with Snapdragon 801, an 5,7 "full HD display and 3 GB of RAM, while" Pro "had the top-chip home Qualcomm (Snapdragon 810) of that period, the same diagonal display but with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) and well 4 GB of RAM memory.
Finally, after more than a year of absence, the company is back with its new trophy horse, the Xiaomi Mi 5, a real upgrade from every point of view from its previous flagships, followed immediately by the first phablet to Xiaomi brand by well 6 "inches (Mi Max).
