Xiaomi will launch a new Mi Router equipped with a SIM slot
Let me explain better, as just today the vice president of the Xiaomi ecosystem, published a post on his Weibo profile in which he anticipates that the company is ready to release a new product, now in test, related to the Mi. And as you can see from the picture, the new Xiaomi home router will be equipped with two LAN interfaces but what comes to mind is the presence of the SIM card slot, precisely the feature that was missing and that would make this router almost unique, certainly for the price at which it will be proposed, even if no further clues emerge about it as well as support for SIM networks.

During Xiaomi 's experience in the router sector, the various awards were not missed, as for the Mi 4C Router, launched in July this year and won the first Lynx award. Probably just the latter model, Xiaomi will inspire the new router, providing it with four antennas to gain the signal from 5dB hominidirectional, able to strengthen the signal as well as transmission performance. To this are added 64 MB of memory for a more stable data transmission, ensuring the smooth execution of more functions, allowing the association up to 64 devices becoming a sort of gateway for smart devices associated with Mi Home.
