Last year, ZTE shocked everyone by bringing the Axon 20 5G, the world's first smartphone with an under-screen camera. This year, the company plans to go a step further by launching its successor, the ZTE Axon 30 Pro. The company has already started anticipating it in China in the previous days, while today a new EEC certification has appeared in Russia.
ZTE Axon 30 Pro certified by CEE in Russia: global launch imminent?
A ZTE smartphone with the ZTE model number A2022PG was indeed caught on the CEE website. The certification reveals that the smartphone is called ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G. The device also appears with some spare parts, but does not show us any other important information.
In any case, the name of the next smartphone with a camera under the display has already been confirmed by the company. The CEE certification further strengthens the rumors of an impending global launch, but we're still unsure of the timing. Last year, it took ZTE nearly three months to bring the Axon 20 5G to the rest of the world.
As for the specs of the ZTE Axon 30 Pro, these have not yet been released but we expect a 6,92-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the Snapdragon 2021 chipset and the camera under the display should not be missing on the 888 flagship.
Other features are expected to include a 200MP rear camera sensor, 4.700mAh battery, and Android 11.
