In a blink of an eye here it is Redmi churn out another smartphone. As we know the first sub-brand of Xiaomi it usually produces an infinite quantity of devices in a very short period of time. The last one that should arrive in chronological line, precisely in three days, 11 May, is called Redmi K30 Speed and it seems to be a JingDong exclusive. For the uninitiated, JingDong is one of China's largest e-commerce portals, comparable to Amazon. But what is the news? This K30 actually mounts a totally unpublished processor and that we have never heard: the Snapdragon 768G.

We know that in the company's plans there is the plan to launch the least expensive 5G smartphone ever, that is Redmi k30i. Although there is no official news, the clues we have suggested that the device will see the light in China within the next month. But in the next few days we will see another one, a special edition. Redmi K30 Speed (so the name can be translated) will be on the shelves starting from11st May. Let's see his bizarre features.
The appearance is identical to that of the standard version, with the double hole in the upper right corner of the display. To change is only what we find under the hood. According to what is written on the description put by JingDong, the device should adopt a processor that Qualcomm has not yet announced. The name is Snapdragon 768G. As we already know, the G indicates a particular optimization on the gaming side but what is surprising is the name itself. There are two hypotheses: or this Redmi K30 Speed will serve the US company to present its new mid-range-near-top SoC or the Chinese portal was wrong to write.
The thing that "stinks" to us, and that suggests that this is not a typo, is that the name of this processor is also present on the data sheet. Here are the photos.

As you can see in the image on the right, the data on the grid clearly quote Snapdragon 768G. So it is unlikely that this is an error, even if the other information is quite coarse. In fact, we see an unclear data when it comes to battery and size the display, respectively from 4.500 to 5.000 mAh and from 6.65 ″ to 6.74 ″.
In short, it is not clear what the brand's move is. We expect clarification in the next few hours.
