It was only a matter of time before Huami, among the largest smartwatch manufacturers in the world, formalized the release of one of its new products. It is about Amazfit GTR 2, the (almost) twin brother of the sporty GTS 2. Among its features we have an elegant design which, however, does not exclude a sporty use: to be honest in China the company presented the smartwatch in standard and Sport variant. It is not excluded that this also happens in Italy. In this regard, the official Amazfit channel announced the release date in our country.
On October 27 Amazfit GTR 2 will debut after weeks of waiting: the king of smartwatches is coming tougher than ever
Through the official channels of the brand, it was communicated that the next October 27 Amazfit GTR 2 will be launched in our country. In particular, we report the advertising video that the Italian channel shared just a few minutes ago. There is no doubt that it is precisely this smartwatch: i physical keys on the right leave no room for other options. In addition to the release date, however, the brand confirms one of the most requested features: digital assistant support Amazon Alexa.
That of the call ofvoice assistant it was among the most requested features of all. In terms of performance Amazfit GTR 2 is unrivaled, at least for the moment: it is the most complete smartwatch on the square even if the launch price (if confirmed) is decidedly high. Originally the announcement was only for the GTR 2 model but today Amazfit announced that the GTS 2 will also be released on October 27th. There are only two days left then.
Too bad that the much-vaunted features in the end are not there, on my GTR2 Alexa absent. wifi absent (so no music on the smartwach except the factory preloaded song), NFC absent, contacted amazfit support they say they are future enabled at a later time (no one knows when)
Hello Marco. Piero on the official website says everything: “local music storage space” for music; Alexa will be integrated later via OTA update; NFC was never announced. If you are referring to previous articles that talk about NFC, it is specified that these are not official features (as the articles were written before the official release).
