Finally available an Android Nougat 7.0 ROM for the Xiaomi RedMi 2 / Prime device based on CyanogenMod 14.

But let's see together how to install this ROM on our Xiaomi RedMi 2 / Prime by checking the following Pre-requisites:
- having installed the recovery TWRP on its Xiaomi RedMi 2 / Prime
- the device must have the Root permissions
- enable the developer menu tapping 7 times on the MIUI version
- enable the ' USB debug, by going to the Settings-> Developer Options menu
- have at least the 70% of residual charge

Here is the guide to install Android Nougat 7.0 on the Xiaomi RedMi 2 / Prime:
Phase 1: First of all you need to download the ROM.
Phase 2: Download the gapps suitable for your device.
Phase 3: Insert the previously downloaded ROM file into the SD card of the device.
Phase 4: Boot your device into TWRP recovery mode. To do this, press the volume key - and the power button at the same time.
Phase 5: From the TWRP main menu, make a backup of your rom. Once you've always backed up from the main menu, do a simple Wipe.
Phase 6: Return to the main recovery menu screen and select Install. Now select the downloaded ROM file and confirm by swiping in order to start the "flashing" process. Do the same process for the GAPPS too. The process can take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes.
Phase 7: Restart the device.
Now you have successfully installed Android Nougat 7.0 on your Xiaomi RedMi 2 / Prime.
