Some time ago we talked about two codenamed devices Apollo and Gauguin. For the first we had assumed that it was Xiaomi mi 10 ultra while for the second, as a result of the latest evidence, we know it is Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. But the first of these two devices, perhaps, is not what we expected. In the last few hours the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station he shared an image that has thrown confusion on the name matter. Apparently it will be a Redmi, and also a flagship considering the refresh rate.
A recent leak confirms that Apollo is not Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, but another Redmi flagship: do you want to see that it will be Redmi K40?
If with Redmi K30 the namesake brand made 30 (in fact), it will make 31 with the next flagship Redmi K40. Sorry for the play on words and numbers, but it was inevitable. We have been talking about this device for days but in an inconsistent way: in fact for a while there are rumors of its existence without, however, providing proof. It seems though Digital Chat Station confirmed the existence of a Redmi flagship with 144Hz refresh rate. And who can it be if not Redmi K40?
In this screenshot, the Chinese leaker who knows everything has inserted the phrase "Apollo returns home, Redmi with ultra-high 144Hz reresh rate". Now, we exclude that the word "ultra" refers to one of the two devices of the same name Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra or Redmi K30 Ultra: these in fact support a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and from what we know, it is not possible to go beyond this. Excluding these two smartphones, one cannot help but focus on the keyword "Apollo": the device will ultimately be a Redmi flagship which will make its release, possibly, on next year.
