I decided to write this second page of diario, on the adventure #MiExplorers, which will take me to Spain in the presence of colleagues from all over the world. And this is to say the least poco wonderful. For centuries man has fought for religious faith, for the color of the skin and for many other decidedly stupid ideologies, but With this initiative Xiaomi succeeded in breaking down obstacles such as racism and uniting over 30 people from all over the world. who will have the task of representing their nation in the mission that #MiExplorers will reserve to them.
Having said that I am definitely excited, and sincerely worried about the obstacles that the language could reserve to me. Also in these hours I'm waiting for an email, which should contain instructions on travel, air tickets, so you know when you leave for the holidays and before leaving home, inspected in every corner checking if you have closed the gas, water, roller shutters etc ..? Well multiply that feeling at least 100 times and you'll understand what I'm feeling at this moment.
Today the Xiaomi company has been listed on the stock exchange and the first results with respect to expectations have not been exactly satisfactory, but the beauty of this society is the fact of being able to always see the positive side of things, a philosophy of life that if adopted by many people would make this world much better, because in any case Xiaomi is still the Chinese technology company that received the highest valuation on the stock market after Alibaba, in 2014. Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, thanked all the Mi Fans who contributed to this success, and also paid tribute to their employees, a fundamental pillar of the success achieved in these 8 years.
All this to say, that Xiaomi in this area is fighting against a global power like America that with its nefarious trade policies has caused quite serious problems to the whole Chinese industry, but has managed to keep its head high and does not abandon its dream of entering the American market. And what does this mean for you? Well this teaches me that in difficulties it is not necessary to break down but remain standing, fixed in one's own goal.
This means that I will go against the difficulties of the language and against the embarrassment of hearing poco adequate for the task, but I'm a #MiExplorers and it's time to be proud of that. Perhaps ingenuity does not make me realize the importance of the role, but time is running out and the time has come to plan a goal for this adventure.
