Since the birth of Xiaomi, the company has had the leitmotif of allowing everyone to live a pleasant life thanks to technology. Today, the Chinese giant has released a teaser that assumes the arrival of another product that will make them "proud" and that will bring high-level technology at half the price. Let's go now to find out, or at least hypothesize what it is!
26 March event: Xiaomi may present the foldable phone
Let's start by trying to understand the text we see in the image above. Translated almost literally into Italian:
Science and technology progress, not just for a few; needs increase, not just for a few. Xiaomi's mission is to improve people's lives with technology. Tomorrow, 26 March 2019, a new high-tech product that will cost half will be presented
Unfortunately, as you may have noticed, the text is almost indecipherable. They may present a new laptop (yesterday's teaser on the Mi Notebook Air), how could they present a new smart washing machine. Having said that, a device that has been talked about in recent months and that certainly deserves the adjective "highly technological" is Xiaomi's foldable smartphone, or the one that can be folded to the sides, transforming itself from a tablet to a "cell" in two steps.

This new smartphone segment has already been tested by Samsung with the Galaxy Fold and by Huawei with the Mate X. Both, however, in addition to a not exactly perfect design, also have a price that would not convince even the most fanboy of the two brands. We are talking about over 1800 euros for the Samsung and 2400 € for the Huawei device.
You will understand well now, that for Xiaomi creating a foldable smartphone and selling it to 900 € / 1000 € would satisfy both the first point: ultra-technological; that the second: it would cost half the price.
Unfortunately, at the moment there are no other rumors regarding tomorrow's presentation. It's probably still early for Mi Foldable Phone, but with Xiaomi you never know what to expect!
