Google is about to launch its new smartphones Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, which will be officially presented on October 4th. However, ahead of the debut, several photos and specifications of the two devices have surfaced online, showcasing their design and features.

The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are Google's first smartphones to adopt the Tensor G3 processor, developed internally by the company. It is a chip based on the ARM architecture, which promises to offer high performance and optimized energy consumption.
The two smartphones share the same design, with a flat screen with a central punch-hole for the front camera and a rectangular module for the rear cameras. The main difference between the two models is the screen size and the number of photo sensors.
Il Pixel 8 has a 6,2-inch screen and with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which guarantees greater fluidity in animations and games. The camera front has a resolution of 10,5 megapixels, while the rear one is made up of two lenses: one main 50-megapixel camera and wide-angle from 12 megapixel. The Pixel 8 also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor and an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
Il Pixel 8Pro, however, has one larger 6,7 inch screen, also with one 120 Hz refresh rate. The front camera has the same resolution as that of the Pixel 8, but the rear one has three lenses: one main 50-megapixel cameraa wide-angle from 48 megapixel and 48 megapixel telephoto lens, which allows one optical zoom up to 5x. The Pixel 8 Pro also has a dedicated pro camera button and a temperature sensing feature.
Both devices should be equipped with Android 13, the latest version of Google's operating system, which introduces several new features in terms of interface, security and customization. The prices of the two smartphones are not yet known, but it is assumed that they are in line with those of previous Pixel models.
