Google is preparing the release of its new smartwatch pixel watch 2, which will be presented together with the new smartphones Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on October 4th. The Pixel Watch 2 has one AMOLED screen from 1,2 inches with a resolution of 383 x 384 pixels and a density of 320 ppi. The screen has a great curvature and the overall look is round and smooth like a pebble. The right side of the watch features a rotating crown, which facilitates user operations. The device is Available in black, beige, dark green, blue and other colors. In addition to the regular version, Google also offers a version with metal strap, which has a more refined appearance.
The Pixel Watch 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 processor and from the operating system WearOS 4, based on Android 13. The device supports 5G connectivity and artificial intelligence features. Furthermore, the Pixel Watch 2 integrates the heart rate sensor multitrack from Fitbit and offers a series of wellness and sports functions.
Among these, there are the stress management system, which helps users monitor and reduce anxiety levels; automatic recognition of seven common sports, which starts and stops exercises based on movement; the fall detection function, which sends an SOS in case of emergency; the heart zone training function, which allows you to set personalized goals based on your heart rate.
The Pixel Watch 2 presents itself as a complete and versatile smartwatch, which adapts to the different needs of users. The device will be officially unveiled on October 4, alongside the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones.
