Goodbye telephoto lens? The surprises of the new Pixel 9 | Video

The series Pixel 9 of Google is preparing to make its debut with a renewed design and cutting-edge performance, revealing an imminent challenge to the giants of the sector. The revelation of OnLeaks offers a privileged window on features of these devices, among which the new basic model stands out. Previously we have already talked about 9a and 9 Pro models.

Design and technical specifications of the Pixel 9

The Pixel 9 will feature BORDI dishes and a glass that covers both the front and back without rounding, the device presents a modern and clean appearance. A notable innovation lies in the camera block, now one “island” separated from the frame, which stands out for not being attached to the sides of the phone. This element designates a clear departure from its predecessors, emphasizing Google's intent to renew its aesthetics.

Photographic sector and performance

Despite theabandoning the telephoto lens in the basic models, therefore limited to higher-end devices, the Pixel 9 promises not to disappoint expectations in the photographic department thanks to its two rear cameras. The overall dimensions of the device will be 152,8 x 71,9 x 8,5 mm, with a camera area that reaches 12mm thick, testifying to particular attention to image quality.

The hardware equipment will see the introduction of the new one Tensor G4 processor, next to a screen from 6,03 inches which promises to offer a top-notch viewing experience. The series will be completed by the 9 Pro with a display of 6,1 inches and the 9 Pro XL, which will further raise the bar with a 6,5 inches. Support for the standard Qi2 wireless charging 15W represents further confirmation of Google's commitment to innovation and ease of use.

The presentation of the Pixel 9 series is traditionally scheduled for October, but we are awaiting official news from Google which should not take long.
