GUIDE: How To Convert A Mi 2 W10 Miu to a Mi Pad 2 Android.

Good Miuiers Day,

Many of you taken from the impatience of having the infamous windows 10 on a tablet have become ingenious from the Mi XJUMX X-factory manufactured by Xiaomi, remaining a bit disappointed.

My 2 pad has a fairly compelling hardware and really a very competitive price but to be honest with w 10 optimization is not such a quick and snappy tablet as it happens in the version that mounts the infamous rom Miui based on famous Os Android.

The need for many is to be able to change, choose between the two ocss, as we already have a tool on how to bring the tablet from Miui to W10 today instead we will deal with how to bring the tablet from w10 and Miui.

How to do:

  • Your computer must have the working adb installed
  • Download the fastboot rom for the Mi 2 pad from this link
  • You pull out the rom, you will find it with a folder named images, inside this folder there will be several raw files, you will find a file called "loader.efi".
  • Turn off your tablet and press Vol + and pover to enter DNX fastboot mode.
  • If you have the ADB console installed correctly by opening a command window in the ADB folder and typing "fastboot device" the console will return a number.
  • Write Fastboot boot and drag the loader.efi file to the command window and you will see the classic image of my xiaoomi fastboot bunny.

  • To do this you need to unlock the bootloader and delete your data, to make it typed: "fastboot oem unlock" and confirmed by the tablet, it will take a few minutes for the restart if it does not restart force the operation by holding down power + volume down.
  • Now with the bootloader blocked, repeat the DNX FASTBOOT operation and the loader.efi command
  • Finally you have to flash all the image files of the rom, do it carefully one by one, dragging the corresponding files on the command prompt:

* fastboot flash oemvars (oemvars.txt)
* fastboot flash oemvars (oemvars-battery-config-fake-disabled.txt)
* fastboot flash oemvars (oemvars-battery-config-fake.txt)
* fastboot flash gpt (gpt.bin)
* fastboot flash bootloader (bootloader)
* fastboot erase misc
* fastboot erase persistent
* fastboot erase metadata
* fastboot format config
* fastboot format factory
* fastboot format cache
* fastboot flash data (userdata.img)
* fastboot flash system (system.img)
* fastboot flash boot (boot.img)
* fastboot flash recovery (recovery.img)

  • Once you flash all the images write "fastboot reboot" on the promt commands, the phone will restart Nb If you see an alert window is just because your booloader has been unlocked, press volume + to load it normally.

Your tablet now mounts the Miui, of course there is no way to go back to w10 since it has been completely deleted from the system.
