The Xiaomi Mi 5 thanks to the drop in prices that took place in the first weekend of June is the object of desire of many Italians.
Finally the global beta version of MIUI V7 (without major bugs) with the Italian language it arrived on Xiaomi's servers ready to be downloaded and installed on your devices. It is dell MIUI V6.5.30 (MIUI7) beta which already contains the Play Store and some preinstalled Google services.
The installation of the Global beta for Xiaomi Mi 5 is very simple and does not require unlocking the bootloader: follow the instructions below and in case of problems just leave a comment and we will try to help you.
NOTE: : the proceeding will go to delete all files and applications on your device, so a device backup is recommended before continuing!
How to proceed:
- Download and install the latest version of MiFlash: MiFlash20160330
- Ignore windows alerts and proceed giving ok,
- Download and extract the archive relating to the Global beta for Mi 5:Download here
- Now turn off your Xiaomi Mi 5 and enter fastboot mode: to do this you have to hold down the keys Volume Down e Power. You will be faced with a similar screen:
- Download and extract the archive Mi5EDL. Now look for the file Mi5 EDL.cmd and double-click on it: you will be asked to connect your phone to your PC via USB cable. Do it! Now press any key on the keyboard, you will receive a similar screen:
- Check now that the drivers QualcommHS-USB QDLoader 9008 they are installed correctly: just go in Computer Management and look for the voice Device Management> Ports (COM and LPT)> Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
- Now launch MiFlash and select Browse: choose the folder now images found in the main folder of the Beta ROM that you extracted in step 3. Now click on refresh and an item should appear as image:
- Now click on flash and at the end of the operation disconnect the cable from your Xiaomi Mi 5 and turn it on: enjoy the MIUI Global Beta.
The ROM works perfectly: I did not find bugs and it is very fluid. Well done, Xiaomi!
And if you want to try the Alpha miui 8 rom just do the whole procedure with this rom MIUI 8 ALPHA GLOBAL replacing it with the 3 point with the global standard ROM.
NB: if you are not part of the alpha rom program you will not receive any contact!
