We all know Huami, a world leader in the wearable sector. Among its products we find SmartWatch, smartband but also headphones as the Amazfit zenbuds. From year to year his catalog expands and it is not just him: like a multinational company that respects a large part of its revenues, it is destined for the research and development department. Unlike other companies engaged in the same sector, Huami focuses heavily on innovation and the fact that its technology can also be useful to "something else". In fact, it continues its action undeterred in the development of its own artificial intelligence (AI) and next week he'll give us a taste.
On June 15 Huami plans to present his artificial intelligence and put it on the field also for health-related aspects
In this period characterized by the fear of the coronavirus that unites all the countries of the world, the Chinese company has understood that its action in the health field it is not only useful, but also necessary. In fact, thanks to the technology of which it is master, it has already made a great contribution to users thanks to the first support tool for the diagnosis of COVID-19 (it is an accessory! It does not replace the doctor!). In the future, thanks to artificial intelligence, Huami will give even more concrete help.
The next 15 June plans to present, on the basis of what the company reported, one new generation of artificial intelligence. Clearly this will be "implanted" on their smartwatches (by the way, the appointment for the Mi Band 5 is set for June 11). Next Monday during what the brand called "Huami Technologies AI Innovation Conference"It seems that the company will communicate what its future plans will certainly include even more decisive actions in the medical field. In this regard, we recall which were the goals larger than the brand in general, starting from the last collaboration:
- 25 May 2020: collaboration with the University of Science and Technology of China to try to make the brain and computer communicate;
- 9 May 2020: the brand makes its technology available to the Chinese national athletics team;
- 9 April 2020: makes its coronavirus technology available;
- 11 June 2019: the first batch of Huangshan chips no. Huami 1 was equipped on Amazfit Verge 2 and Amazfit Health Watch (Chinese versions);
- 20 February 2019: substantial investment in GreenWaves Technologies, a French start-up that deals with semiconductors and standards RISC-V.
These are just some of the steps that led Xiaomi's shoulder company to success. In the future, however, according to what the company said, the brand will focus its firepower more massively on the medical sector. The implications? Still it is impossible to predict them.
