Poco more than a week ago Xiaomi held a press conference in New Delhi during which the Redmi 3s and its "enhanced" version, the Redmi 3s Prime. The latter was the first Xiaomi device this year to be sold without flash sales / pre-orders and what is even more surprising is that over 90000 units were liquidated in just 8 minutes.
According to what was reported by the head of the Indian division of Xiaomi, he was sure that the units available to him would be enough for this first day of sale but he immediately changed his mind as soon as he saw such success from the Redmi 3s Prime.
Recalling the differences between these two versions of this smartphone we see that in the Prime version there are 3 GB of RAM memory (instead of 2 GB), 32 GB of internal memory (16 GB in the normal version) and the fingerprint recognition sensor placed in the back. The remaining hardware features are identical in the two versions and are:
- Displays from 5 "LCD with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels);
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU and Adreno 505 GPU;
- 13 MP (f / 2.0) rear camera and 5 MP front;
- Hybrid Dual-SIM (internal memory can be expanded);
- 4G LTE with VoLTE support (Missing 20 bandwidth);
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n (2,4 GHz);
- Buletooth 4.1 LE;
- Battery by 4100;
- MIUI 7.5 / 8 with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
It is not surprising that the stocks of this device have run out in such a short time given its good technical specifications and its low selling price of around 121 € (94 € the normal version) which make it a low-cost one to consider. .
