The 28 January Meizu officially presented its new Meizu M1, the smartphone that, when it comes to the Chinese market at 699 Yuan (around 99 euro), seems to be the direct competitor of redmi 2 di Xiaomi. The presentation event in fact, was focused on the continuous comparison between these two devices, highlighting the strengths of the Meizu device which according to the manufacturer excels in all aspects.
The Meizu m1 takes on the design and materials of the older brother m1 Notes, but differs for the technical department. Let's see what the hardware features of this new smartphone are:
- 5 inch display with HD + resolution (1280 × 768 pixel) protected by glass Gorilla Glass 3;
- Soc Mediatek MT6732 quad-core 64 bit at the maximum frequency of 1.5 GHz;
- GPU Mali-T760;
- 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory expandable with micro SD;
- Back Camera from 13 megapixel with 2.0 focal opening and 5 megapixel front camera;
- 4.0 Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi, GPS and LTE 4G;
- Battery not removable from 2610 mAh;
- Android 4.4.4 operating system with FlyMe customization.
Indeed on the paper, the Meizu device is slightly higher than the Redmi2, both for the processor and Antutu, which makes 30000 points against the 20000 410 of the Smix 2 Snapdragon 1, as well as the photographic segment. Meizu took advantage of the launch event of his mXNUMX to present the audience also FlyMe 4.2 which will ensure faster execution of apps and a lower overall battery consumption of 25% than the current one. The Meizu m1 will be sold in China as of February 5 in the color variations you see in the picture.
Unfortunately, for the moment, this device has been released with TD-CDMA connectivity only, therefore destined only for the Chinese market.
Those who decide to import it, keep in mind that it is not compatible with European 3G and 4G networks.
We trust in Meizu, and we hope that a suitable version of our networks will be released soon.
