Ever since the European and Italian market came out Mi 10 series, everyone criticized the brand for the high price. A little more justified is the cost of the Pro, but the standard version did not arouse much "joy". Knowing this, the brand has tried to mitigate anger by presenting Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite. But what if we told you that Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro could be among the first smartphones of the brand (if not the first) to receive the MIUI 12 and Android 11? A screenshot from the Chinese social network Weibo tells us about one of these devices already updated. Probably a Mi 10 Pro in test phase.
MIUI 12 and Android 11 have already arrived on Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro: perhaps the testing phase has already begun
As anticipated in the introduction, a user shared a screenshot on Weibo that speaks clearly: a Chinese Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro would have already received the update to MIUI 12 and, with her, it also arrived Android 11. We know that (according to rumors) the update to the twelfth release of the customized Android interface will bring with it the eleventh of the operating system.
As we can read, the firmware version is MIUI 12 20.4.7 with security patches updated to April. Some time ago we talked about MIUI 12 and we understood (true or not) that something is moving. This screenshot could be the first step to understand that in reality the brand is working hard to bring the update within the year. Of course, we take it for granted that it is not a fake: otherwise everything we have said so far goes to be blessed.
What is said lately about this version of MIUI is that Xiaomi will begin beta testing this month and it is not excluded that this Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro be the first guinea pig that is testing the MIUI 12.
In addition to the previously announced dark mode that is not yet usable on all devices of the brand, we can find the following features:
- new graphic interface (GUI): it will be optimized with the possibility of enlarging the icons at will as well as arranging them differently with the app drawer;
- Android 11: from China we also get news of the arrival of Android 11 (or Android R) together with MIUI 12. At the present state of things we are not given what the changes will be and it is also difficult to imagine. We hope for an ever greater battery optimization (which always puts everyone in agreement);
- better compatibility of applications in 16: 9 format;
- ability to clone multiple applications and manage them better.
