After yesterday's revelations on almost all specifics and one sI look at design there was nothing left but to discover with what OS the first smartwatch of the Chinese brand would arrive. Well, today comes the confirmation that the Xiaomi Mi Watch will run with an operating system created specifically for it, as it should be, with the name of MIUI For Watch.
MIUI For Watch will be the operating system of Xiaomi Mi Watch
As the name implies, MIUI For Watch will be a review of MIUI adapted to the interface of a smartwatch. If you want to see a preview already, you can do it in the recently shared video on our Facebook page:

We also have another video in which Xiaomi makes us understand that the applications on the smartwatch will be similar to those for smartphones and that we will find many compatible with those already present on our main device. These will then be downloaded as desired from the app store integrated into the wearable.
Xiaomi has also revealed that MIUI for Watch will be an "open" operating system and therefore it will be possible to create applications and much more without any impediment from the Chinese brand. While among the apps available at launch we already see Mi Home, AliPay, QQ and even TikTok, as well as apps for streaming music.
Unfortunately, at least until now, there is no comment from Xiaomi to let us know if the smartwatch operating system is based on Google WearOS or not.
OS apart, the Xiaomi Mi Watch will have nothing to envy to many other hardware devices currently on the market. Xiaomi's smartwatch will indeed equip a great one Snapdragon Wear 3100 as a processor and an NFC module to be able to make wireless payments and not only. We will also have a large battery that should offer several days of autonomy, a highly efficient GPS module, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Finally, there will be functionality eSIM to be able to connect online even outside the home without needing a smartphone.
Aesthetically it is arrogant! Always wanting to copy Apple
