MIUI News is born

So, welcome in our world!

Given that if you have arrived here you probably know very well what is MIUI. Otherwise I invite you to visit the site of the Italian team that deals with some porting and the translation of this customization of Android: http://miui.nexus-lab.com/site/cose-miui/

Why MIUI?

Long story short: After a lot of wandering and gaining a "good" experience between Android ROMs of various origins, nature and terminals of all kinds, I found the "peace of mind" with MIUI V5.

I admit that after three years of iOS and three different iPhones, my input (June 2012) in the Android world was traumatic both positive and negative. Though I chose the Samsung FlagShip, the Galaxy S3, my expectations were mostly disappointed on the software side.

Android, at that time still Ice Cream Sandwich, compared to iOS actually offered much more "freedom", possibility of integration and customization at the expense of simplicity and immediacy. And it is in this sense that MIUI has made its way into my heart since it kept the immediacy of iOS combined with the potential of Android!

Of course, this is my opinion and a simplification of the matter iOS vs Android which is far more complex.

Why MIUI News?

Visiting statistics that site miuiandroid.com it is interesting to note that Italy stands firmly in the third place (18.948 installations), after China (40.506) and the United States (24.580), which obviously have a much larger population and still far ahead of their cousins European countries: Great Britain (7.400), Germany and Spain (5.500), France (3.800).

These numbers give a measure of the success that the MIUI Roma phenomenon is having in Italy, a measure that is not proportionate to the Italian information resources available. Of fact if we exclude the team of the Nexus-Lab (Official translator) and the sporadic articles that appear in the sites / blogs of the sector, there is no real source of information for the MIUI / Xiaomi world and for some insights you are forced to go abroad. With this site I would like to convey in a single "place" ChangeLog (translated), news, rumors, offers and reviews that revolve around this world!

Meanwhile we begin ... where we will see you will see!
