We have already had the opportunity to test the new highly anticipated MIUI V6 on the Xiaomi Mi4. As you know, however, the version we analyzed was the beta version (perhaps alpha ...) of the one for which today we can finally rejoice.
We have received the update notification only a few hours ago and in a flash the new generation MIUI rom has already taken possession of our Mi4. Xiaomi, in addition to releasing the update for this version of Mi4, would have made the update available also for the Xiaomi Mi3. That said, it is good to specify that you can enjoy the features of the new MIUI V6 only if you have previously installed the developer version on your Mi-phone (if you want to implement it on your Mi4 you can find more info , promising).
If you have not yet received the update notification via OTA you can still go to the official forum to download the new rom and manually flash it.

The upgrade will only take place if your Xiaomi Mi4 is using the latest available developer version (4.8.22), earlier versions or stable versions will not get the update.
