Really missing poco at the Xiaomi press conference dedicated to the presentation of some of its new devices, including the most anticipated one is the Mi Notebook. The latter currently turns out to be still a mystery, as everything we know about this device does not come from official sources and consequently we cannot trust it one hundred percent. However, the situation could soon change because we have come into possession of some slides extrapolated from the PowerPoint presentation, in which it is possible to know the technical specifications of the Mi Notebook, its design in some real photos and, listen, even its price! However, we always want to remember to take everything very lightly, as we are dealing with unofficial sources and consequently we cannot guarantee their authenticity. Having said that, let's move on to examine this document.
In the first long, the presence of two versions of the Mi Notebook is confirmed, respectively "standard" and "top-end", which differ essentially in the diagonal of the display (and the resolution) and in the technical specifications, while the aesthetic side are practically identical. Speaking of differences, the technical data sheet of the "top" version includes an Intel Core i7-6700HQ quad-core 3,5 GHz CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 video card, accompanied by 16 GB of RAM (DDR4), 512 GB of internal storage and a 15,6 "display with 4K resolution. In contrast, the "standard" version will have a 5 GHz dual-core Intel Core i6200-2,8U CPU and an Intel HD Graphics 520 video card, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage and a 13 "display. inches with full-HD resolution. Both will have pre-installed Windows 10 as an operating system, which is due since these devices will also be addressed to gaming.
Moving to the aesthetics, we find a metal body with circular texture, a large touch pad in color with the body, three USB outputs, one HDMI output, one SD input and one audio (3,5 mm jack) and input for charging, while only the internal front of the display is in black plastic. The battery amperage remains unknown.
We conclude by reporting the sales prices mentioned in this file for the two versions which are respectively 3999 Yuan (poco more than € 545) for the "standard" one and 6999 Yuan (poco more than € 954) for the "top".
For now, we take all the necessary precautions and look forward to the upcoming presentation to be held in Beijing in less than 48 hours.
