A new version of bloatware-free MIUI is coming, but it's not for everyone

While many of us are still waiting for the MIUI 12 news of a new version of the customized interface of Xiaomi and Redmi devices arrives from India on their devices. The "cold war"(We put it in quotes, forgive me) between China and India which is being fought with denials by the second nation against the first. The reasons are many but there is the underlying fear of the Indian government that user data could be transported elsewhere and used by Chinese applications. Well, Xiaomi responds with a whole new skin.

Xiaomi's response to the Indian decision to ban its apps is a whole new version of MIUI, completely bloatware free

The decision of the Indian government to ban many Chinese applications including some used by Xiaomi, one of these Mi Browser Pro, derives from the fear that the data collected by the apps themselves can be tracked and used. To aggravate the situation in China there is also the enormous problem (although it does not seem) of Huawei and Trump's ban. In short, the Chinese manufacturers are having a bad time and it is appropriate that they think of a remedy. We know one of them: strive for make every operating system as stock as possible. We refer for example to devices Android One which, however, apparently, Xiaomi seems to have abandoned (unofficial).

It is well known that Google's rules are “more in line” with those of individual Chinese manufacturers. The politics of data collected it has always been a problem for many brands and for this reason Xiaomi has decided, with the launch of MIUI 12, to focus its work on the sector Privacy.

India Xiaomi India

Having made this necessary introduction, we come to today's news. Following the Indian ban, our beloved brand has decided to respond with its head held high by officially announcing one new version of MIUI. After communicating through the voice of Manu Kumar Jain that Xiaomi reserves the right to undertake legal action against false allegations of non-compliance at the orders of the government, the same big game announces:

La new policy of the brand in India can be summarized in three fundamental points:

  1. the new generation MIUI will not have any of the applications blocked by the government previously. This means, contrary to what many say, that the brand complies with the guidelines of the government itself;
  2. by voice of Manu it is confirmed that the MIUI Cleaner app does not use the services of Clean Master, an application that was banned by the government weeks ago;
  3. a very important fact is that which ensures that user data will not transit and will remain in India.

Said this, let's not expect the new version of the custom skin to come to us too. This is a contingent moment that required adequate countermoves.
