OnePlus, the well-known high-end smartphone manufacturer, is about to launch its new flagship model, the OnePlus 12. The device has already been the subject of numerous leaks and previews from fans and specialized media, but now OnePlus has officially revealed some of its most interesting specifications.

The first novelty concerns the rear camera of the OnePlus 12, which will be equipped with a Sony LYT-808 sensor latest generation, co-designed with OnePlus. It is one of the best cameras on the market, capable of taking photos and videos with exceptional quality in all light conditions. The sensor will be accompanied by another large 64 megapixel sensor and a periscope lens that will allow for a greater focal distance than other cameras.
We will also find the use of the imaging system HyperTone. This system includes the complete Ultra-Light Shadow main camera system, the Ultra-Light Shadow imaging engine and the Ultra-Light Shadow ProXDR display. It provides end-to-end system-level imaging capabilities and dramatically improves mobile imaging performance.
The front of the OnePlus 12 will see one instead 2K ProXDR screen with high resolution and high brightness. The display will be produced by BOE, one of the world leaders in the production of LCD and OLED panels.
The next OnePlus flagship will not only be excellent at taking photos and viewing content but will also be a powerful and fast device. The processor that will power the phone will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
The OnePlus 12 doesn't have an official release date yet, but it's expected to arrive later this year or early next year. The price has not yet been announced, but it is assumed that it is similar or higher than that of the previous model, the OnePlus 11 which had a launch price of around 800 euros.
