The month of March will be important for OnePlus as we will see, with absolute certainty, the birth of the new 9 series. This will consist of three devices: OnePlus 9 Lite, Pro e standard. It is good to remember, however, that not all devices will arrive at the same time: it is possible that the Lite variant make you wait a little longer. It happened with the 8T model, released months after the 8 and 8 Pro. But what do we know about him? The last leak they give us a rough idea of what we expect.
OnePlus 9 Lite will mount a Snapdragon 865 processor: Lite only in the name considering the performance of this Qualcomm SoC. But will it come to us? Maybe later
According to a well-known Indian leaker, who knows something about OnePlus, OnePlus 9 Lite will present two variants:
- LE2100: for the Chinese market
- LE2101: for the Indian market (or vice versa)
According to his words (see the Twitter post below) the device will undoubtedly arrive in the Chinese and Indian markets. However, he does not express himself with the same certainty about his arrival in Europe. It just says "it could come". We await further news on this but in our opinion the device will also arrive to us albeit with a little delay.
But that's not the only thing the leaker tells us about the Lite model. According to him, in fact, the device would be equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. This SoC is last year's flagship processor equipped by OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 and many other flagships. Consequently, it is guaranteed that it will be a very powerful smartphone. After all the SoC is still the best considering that of smartphones with Snapdragon 888 only one came out.
