OnePlus fold, the Chinese brand's first foldable smartphone, could hit the market in August. This was revealed by the well-known leakster OnLeaks, which provided some information about the device parameters.

According to its sources, the OnePlus Fold will have a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, with one 7,8-inch internal screen and a 6,3-inch external one, both made of material AMOLED and with one 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the internal screen will be 2K, while that of the external screen has not been specified.
The heart of the OnePlus Fold will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, the new Qualcomm chip that should guarantee high performance and optimized energy consumption. There battery will have a capacity of 4800 mAh and will support the quick charge from 67 W, a typical feature of OnePlus products.
As for the camera, the OnePlus Fold will have a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel main sensor, 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. The front camera will instead be 32 megapixels and will be integrated into the external screen.
The OnePlus Fold will also keep the three-stage mute key design, a distinctive element of OnePlus phones that allows you to easily switch between sound, vibrate and silent modes. The unlock method will be the lateral fingerprint recognition, probably to reduce the thickness and weight of the device.
La internal memory will start from 16GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM, a generous configuration that reflects OnePlus' philosophy of offering phones with high performance and no compromises. It is assumed that there will also be other variants with more memory, perhaps up to 24GB of RAM.
The OnePlus Fold will be released globally in August, according to OnLeaks, but the price is not yet known. It is a product eagerly awaited by fans of the Chinese brand, which is entering the folding smartphone market for the first time. The OnePlus Fold will have to compete with the already established models of Samsung, Huawei and Motorola, but it could have more cards to play in terms of quality-price.
