OPPO, one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in the world, is about to launch a new mid-range model with 5G connectivity: it is theOPPO A2 5G, which was recently uploaded to the China Telecom website, revealing its design and technical specifications.

The OPPO A2 5G comes with a thin and light body, with dimensions of 165.61mm × 76.02mm × 7.99mm it's a weight of 193g. The back is available in three colors: Crystal Ice Purple, Clear Wave Emerald and Calm Sea Black. The front is dominated by a broad 6.72-inch LCD screen with single hole and resolution of 1080*2400 pixels, which offers you a good visual experience.
Under the body, the OPPO A2 5G hides a Dimension 6020 processor, a rebranded version of the Dimensity 700, which delivers smooth performance and 5G network support. The internal memory is good 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of ROM, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. The operating system is Android 13, the penultimate version of Google's popular software.
As for the camera, the OPPO A2 5G has one dual rear camera with 50 megapixel main sensor e secondary 2 megapixel sensor, which allows you to take good quality photos and record videos in Full HD. There front camera is 8 megapixel instead and allows you to take selfies and video calls.
One of the strengths of the A2 5G is its battery 5000mAh, which ensures excellent autonomy even with intensive use of the smartphone. Charging takes place via USB-C port, but it's unclear whether fast charging is supported.
The OPPO A2 5G is expected on the Chinese market shortly, with a starting price of 1999 yuan, equal to approximately 260 euros at the current exchange rate. It is not yet known whether the device will also arrive in other countries, but considering the success of previous OPPO models in the global market, it is likely that we will soon see it in Europe too.
