As we know, OnePlus, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is about to launch its new flagship model, the OnePlus 12.

Well, today the device was spotted on the Antutu benchmarking platform, which measures the performance of various smartphone hardware components. The result was surprising: the OnePlus 12 achieved a total score of 2110808 points, surpassing the two models Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, which reached 2001498 and 2074755 points respectively.
The secret of the OnePlus 12 is its processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, Qualcomm's most powerful and advanced. It is a 4 nanometer chip that offers a clock speed of up to 3,09 GHz and an Adreno 730 GPU. The processor is supported by well 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage space.
But not only the processor makes the difference: the OnePlus 12 should boast one too 6,82-inch screen with 2K+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen is based on LTPO technology, which allows the frequency to be dynamically adapted based on the content displayed, thus optimizing energy consumption. The screen is also produced by BOE, one of the largest Chinese companies in the OLED panel sector.
As for the photographic sector, the OnePlus 12 will be equipped with one triple rear camera, which includes a 64 megapixel main sensor, a telephoto lens periscope with 5x optical zoom it's a ultra-wide angle sensor. The front camera will instead be 32 megapixels and is located in a hole in the screen.
Finally, the OnePlus 12 will equip one battery from 5400 mAh with support for both wired and wireless fast charging. There wired charging reaches 100W of power, while the wireless one is 50 W. The phone also supports fingerprint unlock under the screen, connection USB 3.2 and the X-axis linear motor for vibrations.
The OnePlus 12 therefore promises to be a dream smartphone for technology and performance enthusiasts. The official presentation date is not yet known, but it is assumed that it will take place before the end of the year. The price should be less than a thousand euros, in line with OnePlus' policy of offering quality products at competitive prices.
