The well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO it would seem ever closer to the launch of a new series of mid-low-end devices, the series OPPO A2. This series was recently certified by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and some of its features were disclosed by a technology blogger.
OPPO A2 series prepares for launch: 6,7-inch curved OLED screen and 108MP main camera
According to blogger Digital Chat Station, the OPPO A2 series is codenamed "Givenchy" and stands out for its elegant and refined design. The device has one curved OLED screen Ultra-thin from 6,7 inches with a resolution of 2412×1080p. The screen also supports a high PWM dimming frequency of 2160Hz, which reduces flicker and eye strain. The blogger defined the screen design as "flagship", comparing it to that of OPPO's high-end models.
But the screen is not the only attraction of the OPPO A2 series. The device is also equipped with a large battery of more than 5000 mAh, which guarantees excellent autonomy. In addition, the OPPO A2 series boasts a new 108 MP main camera, which promises to deliver high quality and detailed shots. The rear camera consists of three circular lenses, arranged symmetrically on the back of the body. The body of the device has a curved front and back design, which improves its ergonomics and aesthetics.
It is not yet known which processor it will be used in the OPPO A2 series, but it is assumed that it will not be too powerful, considering the price range at which the device is aimed. Indeed, the OPPO A2 series is expected to have a similar price tag to the previous OPPO A1 Pro series, which was launched in November last year. This series had a starting price of 1799 yuan (about 230 euros) for the 8GB + 128GB version, and went up to 2299 yuan (about 290 euros) for the 12GB + 256GB version.
The launch date of the OPPO A2 series has not yet been officially announced, but it is believed that it may be imminent, as the device has already obtained the necessary certifications.
