OPPO presented its new flagship smartphones today, OPPO Find X7 e OPPO Find X7 Ultra, which stand as direct rivals of Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, vivo X100 and X100 Pro, Realme GT5 Pro and OnePlus 12. Let's find out more.

Design
OPPO Find X7 and OPPO Find X7 Ultra have an elegant and refined appearance, with a large circular photo module on the back, decorated with an inlay pattern and the Hasselblad logo, the famous Swedish camera brand with which OPPO has partnered. The body of the smartphone is made of different materials depending on the color: Sea and Sky (dark blue) and Desert Silver Moon (orange) have a combination of leather and metal, while Smoky Purple and Starry Sky Black have a glass cover. The Ultra model also has an exclusive variant in black, also in leather. OPPO Find X7 also has the characteristic three-stage button of OnePlus, OPPO's sister brand. Both smartphones have the IP65 certification for resistance to dust and water.
Screen
OPPO Find X7 and OPPO Find X7 Ultra come with one OLED screen with LTPO technology, which allows you to adapt the refresh rate based on the content displayed, saving energy. The screen also has a curvature on the sides, high resolution, high brightness, Dolby Vision support and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The differences between the two models are in size and resolution: OPPO Find X7 has a 6,78-inch screen with 1.5K resolution (2.780 x 1.264 pixels), while OPPO Find X7 Ultra has a 6,82-inch screen with 2K resolution (3.168 x 1.440 pixels). Both screens have a 120 Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, a PWM dimming of 2160 Hz and a Bright Eyes function for eye protection.
Processor
OPPO Find X7 and OPPO Find X7 Ultra are powered by two different processors, both latest generation and 4 nm. OPPO Find X7 features MediaTek's Dimensity 9300, which has an octa-core CPU with a maximum frequency of 3,25 GHz and an Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU. OPPO Find X7 Ultra instead features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which has an octa-core CPU with a maximum frequency of 3,3 GHz and an Adreno 750 GPU. Both processors support 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-frequency GPS and satellite communication ( the latter only for a special version of the Ultra model). There RAM memory is LPDDR5X type and internal memory is UFS 4.0 type, with cuts of up to 16 GB and 1 TB, respectively.
Camera
Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra have one 32 MP front camera with Sony LYT506 sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 21mm equivalent focal length and autofocus. The rear camera is different between the two models: OPPO Find X7 has a 50+50+64 MP triple camera with Sony LYT808 main sensor, f/1.6 aperture, 23mm equivalent focal length, autofocus and optical stabilization (OIS), Samsung JN1 ultra-wide angle sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 15mm equivalent focal length, 119° viewing angle, 3,5cm autofocus and macro, and sensor Haowei OV64B periscope telephoto lens, f/2.6 aperture, 70mm equivalent focal length, autofocus, OIS and minimum focusing distance of 25cm. OPPO Find X7 Ultra instead it has one 50+50+50+50 MP quad camera with Sony LYT900 main sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 23mm equivalent focal length, autofocus, OIS and an 11x increase in dynamic range, Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide angle sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 14mm equivalent focal length, 123° viewing angle, autofocus and 4cm macro, and two Sony IMX890 and IMX858 telephoto periscope sensors, f/2.6 and f/4.3 aperture, 65mm and 135mm equivalent focal length, autofocus, OIS and 2.7x and 6x optical zoom.
Battery
OPPO Find X7 and OPPO Find X7 Ultra have one 5.000 mAh battery with double cells and support 100W Super VOOC fast charging, which allows you to recharge your smartphone in about 20 minutes. The Ultra model also supports 50W wireless charging , 10W reverse charging, to power other compatible devices.

Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra will be available in China from January 15, 2024, with the following starting prices:
- OPPO Find X7 12 GB + 256 GB: 3.999 yuan (about 520 euros)
- OPPO Find X7 Ultra 12 GB + 256 GB: 5.999 yuan (about 780 euros)
It is not yet known when and if the two smartphones will also arrive in Europe and Italy, but it is hoped that OPPO will soon bring them to our market too, where they could compete with the best top of the range of the moment
