This morning in China there was the official presentation of the new Qualcomm processor for the mobile platform, lo Snapdragon 835, a very small card that contains the most sophisticated and advanced in the world now, to allow improvements in data and voice transmission, use in all VR activities and for the processing of images captured more and more at levels professional, all trying to reconcile the double and contrasting need for power with low energy consumption.
During this event, in the Weibo pages of Xiaomi and Qualcomm there was an exchange that could announce an exclusive use limited to China of the new chip by Xiaomi itself. In fact, Xiaomi, from one of his official accounts, has shared the post Qualcomm that presented the chip with a phrase that recalls the "veni, vidi, vici" (I come, I see, conquered in the post) used by Julius Caesar to comment on his extraordinary victory:
In response, Qualcomm invites the company itself: "Welcome, be my guest, let's do it. Xiaomi - NdT: in the image is emphasized in red -: I come, see, win ":
This exchange was interpreted by all Asian experts and bloggers as the confirmation that the next Xiaomi flagship will actually be endowed with the SD 835 chip and that then the agreements with Samsung concern "only" the rest of the world - obviously excluding China.
Let's remember that versions of Xiaomi Mi 6 there should be 3: a "standard" version, equipped with the proven Snapdragon 821 processor; a "plus" version, equipped with this brand new SD835, and finally a version with the more powerful variant of the SoC made by Xiaomi Pinecone, the Surge S2.
The Qualcomm exclusive is really a big bang for Xiaomi: it is further confirmation that it is a highly respected and important company in the motherland, but which also has influences in the rest of the world, thanks to the network and the community. We hope that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will again be able to conquer users and leave them positively amazed.
