Razer has partnered with Qualcomm for present its first handheld console, dubbed Edge 5G. According to official data, the model will be powered by a flagship Snapdragon chipset, designed specifically for gaming devices. In addition, its 6.8 ″ display has a high frequency di updating. The console was announced at the RazerCon 2022 event. To be precise, the device is a small tablets that connects to an external Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller. The device received a 6.8 ″ AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz.
Equip the platform Snapdragon G3x Gen 1, a specialized Qualcomm chipset designed for portable consoles. It works by supporting 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 128 GB of storage (UFS 3.1), expandable with microSD memory cards. The capacity of the built-in battery is 5000 mAh. Razer Edge 5G performs Android 12 with an application pre-installed by Epic Games. As the name suggests the Razer Edge 5G console will be capable of connect to fifth generation networks or via WiFi 6E using the FastConnect 6900 system.
