The month of July promises to be full of news for gaming smartphone enthusiasts, with two models that promise to offer top-of-the-line performance and functionality. That is to say Red Magic 8S Pro e iQOO 11S, two devices that will be presented a few hours apart from each other and that will compete for the favor of the most demanding gamers.
Red Magic 8S Pro: the gaming phone with overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has a launch date
Red Magic 8S Pro will be the new flagship of the Chinese brand dedicated to gaming, which has announced the launch date for July 5th. The smartphone should be the second to use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset, an overclocked version of Qualcomm's processor that reaches a main frequency of 3,36 GHz.
The Red Magic 8S Pro should also boast an attractive design, with a Void coloring which simulates some of the internal components of the smartphone, and a series of features dedicated to gaming, such as the 520 Hz double shoulder triggers, the active cooling system with integrated fan and the 6-inch AMOLED E6,8 screen with 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and a hidden selfie camera. There battery would be 6000mAh with support to quick charge from 170W.
iQOO 11S instead it is the new model of the economic sub-brand of Vivo, which as we have just discovered has set the presentation date for the 4th of July. This smartphone should also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset, flanked by 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The main difference compared to the Red Magic 8S Pro would be in the design, which is more sober and minimalist.
Both smartphones promise to be true monsters of power, capable of satisfying the needs of the most passionate gamers. It will be interesting to see what the prices and availability of the two models will be, and if they can win the trust of consumers. For now we just have to wait for the launch conferences scheduled for the first days of July.
