As always happens just before a presentation, the Chinese brand Redmi has started to share some of the features that we will find on board the Redmi 10X. So, after seeing the first real photo of the device published yesterday by the president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of Redmi, Lu Weibing, today we are going to discover different details on the photographic and audio sectors.
Redmi 10X: Confirm some photographic and audio features
Let's start with the cameras, or at least two of them. Redmi has in fact just announced that the Redmi 10X will adopt a total of four cameras on the back. Among these we will find one with a maximum zoom of 30x and one with OIS (optical stabilization). Let's also assume that the latter is the main camera like the one we have on the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom.
Redmi's OIS technology is able to reduce vibrations with a high speed jitter detection through the gyroscope and the acceleration sensor, these then transmit the signal to the OIS processing system to calculate the amount of displacement that must be compensated. Put simply, we will find an excellent optical stabilization system to minimize vibrations, especially in low light conditions.
Another interesting feature for the photographic sector is the possibility of creating photos with light painting effect. Light painting is a technique that allows the photographer to take photos with drawings created from light sources. In the images above we can see some examples.
Turning to the news concerning the audio sector, the product director of Redmi, Wang Teng, "inadvertently" shared a photo that seems to confirm the presence of a 3.5mm audio jack. So the 10X won't surprise us with the lack of the audio jack, which has become increasingly rare in today's smartphones.
Finally, remember that the Redmi 10X is the smartphone that will be the first to equip the brand new MediaTek Dimensity 820 which has already allowed it to obtain over 400 thousand points on the AnTuTu benchmark platform.
