A couple of days ago we showed you the first official teaser of the next Redmi flagship store whose name we do not yet know. Nevertheless, Lu Weibing, general manager of Redmi and vice president of Xiaomi Group, already seems to be thinking about the future, or rather the availability of this ultra-economical top of the range.
As some of you will remember, Xiaomi had run into some problems after the launch of the Mi 9. The entry into the market of the last flagship presented at the MWC in Barcelona has indeed had some complications as Xiaomi was not able to produce enough devices to satisfy the demand.
Lu Weibing: Redmi's Flagship will have no stock problems
Today, Lu Weibing responded to a user who asked "Will Redmi's flagship be available at launch?" Saying publicly that yes, the next top of the brand will have no stock problems.
However, this is not the first time that Lu Weibing decides to talk about production difficulties. Even at the presentation of Redmi Note 7 Pro in fact, Redmi's manager had announced that there would be no problems and so it went.
Obviously, however, Redmi's flagship will be another pair of sleeves. We expect a very high demand for this device which, as confirmed several times, will equip a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor at a price that will outperform the competition.
In addition to the best mobile CPU currently on the market, the top of the range will then have a camera with a pop-up mechanism, ie it will come out from the top of the device to take a selfie, this also means that we will not have any notches and therefore we will finally say goodbye to the notification bug.
Lu Weibing also mentioned that the smartphone will have a really thin "chin" (lower edge) and it will be the first Redmi terminal with a truly "full screen" design.
As for the other specifications, we will most likely find a rear camera from 48MP, the Sony IMX586, a battery of more than 4000mAh, the audio jack for headphones and the NFC module (both confirmed).
