We continue the series of daily leaks concerning the upcoming Redmi K20 with a new indiscretion always coming from China.
A famous manager of a partner company of Xiaomi could in fact have announced the price of the first and true flagship of the brand that became independent at the beginning of the year.
Redmi K20 series, could cost between 2000 and 4000 Yuan
Pan Jiutang would have shared the teaser we saw this morning on the Chinese social media Weibo, then adding a personal thought. Specifically, Jiutang said that "a number of excellent devices have been released over the past two months. But as a rational, objective and neutral person, I personally think that the Redmi K20 series will have great success. It will be one of the best options in the 2000-4000 Yuan price range. "
So, according to Pan Jiutang, the Redmi K20 could have a starting price of 2000 Yuan, or around 260 €, while the Redmi K20 Pro should still cost less than 4000 Yuan, around 520 euros.
Now, although we are sure that the Pro version of the device will also cost less than 520 €, we are not so sure that the Redmi K20 can cost poco more than 260 €. This is unless the less premium variant is equipped with a less performing processor, such as a Snapdragon 712 or 730.
On the other hand, Jiutang has suggested such a wide price range that in practice it does not give us any certainty; the smartphone could cost 299 €, 349 €, 399 € and so on. We therefore recommend taking this indiscretion with pliers.
Recapitulating the features we will surely find on Redmi K20 Pro, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor supported by the 2.0 Game Turbo mode for a better gaming experience, an AMOLED type screen with underlying fingerprint sensor, an 4000mAh battery, a jack audio from 3.5mm to connect headphones or other without the need for adapters and an NFC module to make electronic payments.
From a photographic point of view, the presence of a Sony IMX586 main sensor with 48MP resolution was confirmed, which will most likely be accompanied by a secondary 8MP telephoto sensor and a third 13MP camera with ultra wide-angle lens. While in front we will have a front camera from 20MP (rumor) with a pop-up mechanism that comes out on demand when you want to take a selfie.
In any case, with less than 5 days to the date of presentation, perhaps it is better to wait for the various official prices to be revealed instead of wasting time thinking about it.
