Raise your hand if you haven't drooled over the legendary Mi 8 Explorer Edition, a smartphone that has been much talked about due to the adoption of a completely transparent back cover that allowed you to glimpse all the hardware goodness used on the former top of the range. In reality, it was later discovered that Xiaomi had used a graphic trick, positioning a decorative motherboard, i.e. with fake hardware elements and a series of stickers, positioned just above the real hardware equipment, obtaining however a superlative WOW effect.
At this point it seems the Chinese brand tries again, with Redmi K30 Pro in the Transparent Edition version, but in this case we are dealing with a truly exclusive and unique variant and now I am telling you why.
Redmi K30 Pro is shown without veils in the Transparent Edition
First of all, Redmi K30 Pro Transparent Edition is unique, in that it was made specifically on commission by Daniel D, Xiaomi Senior Product Marketing Manager, so it is not a model that will see commercialization. As for the previous collections, also in the case of Redmi K30 Pro a transparent back cover was used, with which it is possible to see the inside of the smartphone, but in this case no decorations were used to recall the hardware but rather what you see are the relay components of the terminal.
As you can appreciate from the images that flow inside the article, but in my personal opinion the WOW effect that was created with the Explorer versions was not repeated, as it seems rather to have to do with an incomplete terminal, a more crude vision typical of teardowns.
And you, what do you think of this transparent variant of Redmi K30 Pro? Would you do it a little thought or is it better to recreate the effect with the help of some covers?
