Xiaomi and production problems always seem to go hand in hand. Some of you will remember the slowdowns in the production of the Xiaomi Mi 9 last year. This slowness then clearly led to a lack of stock for several weeks. Unfortunately, the problem has reiterated the past month with the Mi 10, but this time due to the Coronavirus pandemic that is now paralyzing the whole world.
Lu Weibing: Fortunately I won't have to assemble Redmi K30 Pro personally
Going to today, with the presentation of the Redmi K30 Pro around the corner, Chinese Redmi fans have already started asking questions to the various leading figures who work for the brand. As you may have already understood from the title, one of these people is Lu Weibing, or the vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of the Redmi brand.
So here is that to the fans' question "Will the K30 Pro have production problems?", Lu Weibing jokingly replied that "No, there is no need to go and assemble smartphones personally".

Lei Jun who assembles Xiaomi Mi 9
Those who follow Xiaomi closely will know that last year, during the lack of Mi 10 stocks, the Xiaomi cofounder, Lei Jun, had said that if the production had not speeded up, he would have personally gone to screw the screws on the Xiaomi Mi 9. An exit that had made Lei Jun a real meme with a photomontage of the same inside the factory to assemble terminals (image above). So Lu Weibing went back to that meme to ironic and at the same time confirm that the Redmi K30 Pro shouldn't run into any problems.
In any case, moving to the device itself, we already know that the K30 Pro will adopt the brand new and performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, coupled with at least 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 internal memory. Two types of ultra fast and efficient memories that we also find on the Xiaomi flagship, the We 10 Pro.
A teaser of a few weeks ago also confirmed that the smartphone will arrive with a truly full screen. This means that the camera will be hidden inside the chassis in a pop-up mechanism that only lets it out when needed. On the back instead, we should find at least four cameras. Among these we will have a main one with a resolution of 64MP (the 108MP one was too expensive for its range), coupled to an ultra wide angle, a telephoto camera with an optical zoom of at least 2x and alternatively a macro lens or a depth of field sensor to take photos with the much-loved bokeh effect.
As for the other features, the Redmi K30 Pro should adopt a battery of at least 4500mAh. While the fast charge should start from a minimum of 33W, even if after the presentation of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max with 33W recharge these seem even few.
Finally, the K30 Pro will have a starting price of over 3000 Yuan, or about 380 € at the current exchange rate.
