Xiaomi is set to wow the world with its August 14th event, where it will showcase its foldable smartphone MIX Fold 3 and other new products. But Xiaomi will not be the only protagonist of the day, because its brand too Redmi has a surprise in store for its fans: the Redmi K60 Ultra, the new flagship smartphone that promises record-breaking performance and an attractive design.

After confirming the launch date and the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, Redmi has today unveiled some official teasers that show us the design of the K60 Ultra. It is a device that stands out from the other models of the K60 series for some interesting details.
First, the back cover of the black (Moyu) version is made of a carbon fiber texture, which gives it an aggressive and hardcore look. The rear camera module is instead a DECO in monobloc metal, with a three-dimensional cutting pattern that integrates perfectly with the body. There main camera will have a resolution of 108 megapixels, while the other two will probably be a telephoto and a wide angle.
Another element that catches the eye is the screen will in fact be flush with the frame, without any protrusion or interruption. It is a 1,5K OLED panel (probably 1620 x 1080 pixels), with a diagonal of 6,67 inches and 144 Hz refresh rate. This screen will be supported by a Pixelworks X7 independent chip, which will offer advanced features such as super resolution, super smoothness, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
The Redmi K60 Ultra will also be available in others two colors: Yingqing and Qingxue. The former will have a warm, humid hue like jade, while the latter will be pure white. Both colors will have a glossy, reflective finish.
As for the other technical specifications, we know that the K60 Ultra will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimension 9200+, an octa-core chip with a maximum frequency of 3,35 GHz and a Mali-G78 GPU. This processor will support 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Furthermore, the K60 Ultra will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to be equipped with 24 GB of RAM LPDDR5X to 4.266 MHz e 1TB UFS 4.0 ROM. Thanks to these memories, you can keep up to 70 apps in the background without them closing automatically.
The K60 Ultra will also be equipped with the Rage Engine 2.0, a software engine that will optimize the performance of the device according to different scenes and different loads. Rage Engine 2.0 will be able to detect and predict real-time load and stabilize the frame at the edge of the heavy load scene.
