Despite the presentation of the upcoming Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro has already been scheduled for day 29 August, both Xiaomi through teasers, which the Chinese media with their leaks, are quickly revealing all the specifications of the new series even before the event .
Today, in fact, there is a new leak that reveals some of the main configurations of both Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro; let's go discover them together.
Series Redmi Note 8: Leaked memory / RAM configurations and colors
As we can see in the image above, today's leak mainly concerns the various memory configurations, as well as the colors in which the two devices will be available. Let's start with the Redmi Note 8 Pro which according to the rumor will go on sale with a minimum of 6GB of RAM and a maximum of 8GB. While, from the point of view of the internal memory, the smartphone will be available with 64GB or 128GB of storage.
Furthermore, we also discover that it will be possible to buy Note 8 Pro in the colors Hail Green (green), Fritillaria White (white) and Electro-optic Ash (ash).
Switching to Note 8 instead, this will be available with RAM ranging from 4GB to 6GB of RAM, while the internal memory starts from 64GB up to a maximum of 128GB. At the moment we don't know if the memory of both smartphones will be expandable via a microSD card.
As for the colors of the non-Pro version, we have Meteorite Black (black), Fantasy Blue (blue) and White (white).
Finally, even if not present in the image, the leaker has communicated other specifications that we will most likely find on board the new series like the NFC module (at least on the Pro), which would be a first for the Redmi Note series, the emitter of infrared rays and fast charging at 18W. Furthermore, as far as the CPU is concerned, the Pro version will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G90T (as confirmed here), while the base Note 8 could adopt the less performing version of the CPU, or the Helio G90.
