A few days ago we talked about a new one Redmi smartwatch arriving in China. It is about Watch 2 which, according to what we know, will not arrive (for now) in Europe and therefore in the Global market. However, by looking on the portals of certification bodies, we found evidence that it will arrive in Italy Redmi Watch 2 Lite. This would therefore also confirm the arrival of one variant standard which, however, as anticipated, has not yet been certified by us. But having said that, what do we know about him?

Xiaomi, or rather Redmi, is preparing the launch of a new smartwatch: it will be called Redmi Watch 2 Lite. Here's what we know about him
Within a Italian and European certification we found a trace of a new device. This is Redmi Watch 2 Lite. This means two things: first of all that Xiaomi's shoulder brand plans to launch a new smartwatch also from us; i second place, which are two variants are foreseen. Basically, as for the first generation smartwatch, this year Xiaomi is preparing a standard model and a Lite one. According to the certification above, the model number is M2109W1. This is the smartwatch that poco long ago it was certified on EEC.
From that moment we have not known the name of the smartwatch but today, as we said, we discovered it is Redmi Watch 2 Lite.

That said, unfortunately we don't know what the differences between the two devices. But we can try to guess. This could be (the Lite) a device with a screen with lower resolution but above all not equipped with GPS. Also, we can expect one less amount of sporting activities compared to the standard version. Obviously, we don't believe the chip NFC in the Lite variant, but only on the standard one.
