Xiaomi has just launched the new Redmi XiaoAi Touch Screen Speaker Pro 8: an 8-inch touch-screen smart speaker priced at 499 yuan (62 €), will be on sale at the Xiaomi Mall (in China) from 0:00 on September 9.

The Redmi XiaoAi Touch Screen Speaker Pro 8 is Xiaomi's first touch screen speaker with integrated battery. It adopts a large capacity 4700mAh lithium battery and has an autonomy of about 4,5 hours. Compared to previous speakers, the Redmi Xiaoai Smart Speaker Pro has seen several updates and refinements, these include the just mentioned built-in battery, RAM increased from 1GB to 2GB, Wi-Fi network improved from only 2.4G to Wi-Fi dual-band 2.4G / 5G.
