Mi Weather is the new Xiaomi Super Wallpaper, just arrived on MIUI 12: how it looks and how to install it on our device
To keep company a Snow Mountain and Geometry, as well as a Navagio Beach and Dolomites, arrives today the Super Wallpaper Mi Weather. The name could be a little misleading: not anything too particular that makes you think of a personalized wallpaper, however for lovers of nature and freedom it could be pleasant to install it. In this regard, remember that this is it can only be installed on some devices:
- Xiaomi Mi 11
- Xiaomi Mi 10 / Pro / Ultra
- Redmi K30 Pro (POCO F2 Per)
- Redmi K30 Ultra,
- Xiaomi Mi 9 / Pro
- Redmi K20 Pro / Mi 9 T Pro
This because? Because only devices with a certain hardware level can use the service. Although other devices such as Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro or Mi 10 T are not mentioned, it is not excluded that the super wallpapers do not work. In fact we have tried with one Xiaomi Mi 8 and it seems to work flawlessly. There's no harm in trying. Here is a small preview.
How to install it? Very simple, considering it's a Super Wallpaper not intended for everyone, we can force its installation using Google Wallpapers o Activity Launcher. Once the file has been downloaded and installed, let's go to the launcher (we used activity but the story is the same also for Google's) and search LiveWallpaper. We select the result and let's look for Mi Weather. Once done we will find the super wallpaper installed.
Recall once again that it may not work on all devices. It is after all an alpha version extracted from the Chinese ROM.
