A new electric steam mop has in fact just been launched on the Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding platform. The product is called SWDK S260 Steam Electric Mop and is now on presale in China at a price of only 499 yuan, on 63 euros at current exchange rates.
The SWDK S260 Steam Electric Mop arrives with a body weighing 3 kg, therefore relatively light, with high frequency sterilization and mite removal functions. SWDK's electric steam mop can in fact release steam at 100 ℃ for a sterilization rate of 99,99%. It can be used for steam cleaning of marble, ceramic tiles, wooden floors and other surfaces.
The S260 Steam Electric Mop then adopts a patented technology for an alternative washing of the floor which can simulate a manual cleaning, with a maximum frequency of up to 1000 movements per minute. Plus, it uses the cleaning motion to go on almost autonomously, making it even easier to clean the house. In practice it will be the mop to carry you around the house and not the other way around.
The device has a water tank with a capacity of 270 ml combined with a 6,5 meter long power cable, to reach every corner of the room.
