The release of the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be postponed and will probably not be equipped with the Snapdragon 835 soc. This is what can be correctly assumed after the news leaked yesterday that Xiaomi will not take part in the Mobile World Congress which will be held in Barcelona from February 27 to 2 March 2017.
But there is another element that contributes to the validity of this hypothesis: As Forbes reported, Samsung takes precedence over virtually the first Qualcomm processor, so the latter will not be available in large quantities until after the " Galaxy S8 release scheduled for April 14 in the motherland, South Korea. This is because Samsung is helping Qualcomm in delivering the soc.
What will Xiaomi do then? Will it wait April-May to endow its new flagship of the latest Snapdragon processor or will it be forced to do as LG confirms its presence on its next G6 of the SD 821? In the face of these supply issues and privileged arrangements, Xiaomi will surely have to point to other features besides the processor to make its new top of the range appealing. There are so many news that concern the Chinese company terminal that has yet to be released: it is about ceramic body, double curved display, different memory versions and really competitive prices.
Certainly, Qualcomm's new flagship processor, released in November and recently unveiled at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, offers extraordinary new capabilities, such as the ability to run a full version of Windows 10, but it's not still fully tested for use in a smartphone and its performance compared to other top-end processors.
As we all know, from here in April the games could still change and Xiaomi might be surprised again, while the curiosity towards Mi 6 continues to grow.

I would have the solution: 821 for less than 400 euros and all the Xiaomi equipment plus some additions (irda, fm, 6-axis stabilizer, 4000mAh battery, double tap, front ultrasonic sensor for example).
