Last week the brand new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was presented which, in addition to the new processor, has been renewed for the most part in the design (taken from the Redmi Pro) with the use of an all-metal body milled at the edges, the implementation of 2.5D technology and the perfect symmetry of each single element | Xiaomi Redmi Official Note 4 |. After having met him thanks to the photos reported by Xiaomi for his presentation, now we will go to examine it more closely and we will do it through the unboxing and the general overview of the smartphone itself.
The sales package has not undergone any changes compared to the ones seen so far, so we find the classic white color box with the smartphone image on the front, while at the back we find the sticker with the technical specifications and the data of the device.
Inside the package, in addition to the XMUMX Note Redmi, we find the usual Xiaomi accessory, so some manuals, the brooch to take out the SIM cartridge, USB cable and wall outlet with Chinese outlet with 4 V and 5 But even though the smartphone supports fast charging, the latter does not have it.
Moving on to the Redmi Note 4, on the front we find the large 5,5 ″ inch IPS LCD display with full-HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and rounded edges (2.5D), the ear capsule with two symmetrical holes on the sides for the proximity and ambient light sensor and the three classic backlit soft touch keys with a small RGB status LED poco under the home button.
At the rear we find the 13 MP main camera with PDAF and focal aperture f / 2.0 perfectly centered and in line, below the two bitonal LED flashes, the sensor for fingerprint recognition and, finally, the Mi logo. Here we find the second novelty of this new version of the Redmi Note, i.e. the main speaker has been moved to the side of the micro-USB port (Type-B) to create the right symmetry with the main microphone (both hidden under a grid with dots) and the two screws at the bottom of the smartphone. In the upper part, however, we find the infrared sensor in the center, while placed respectively at the same distance from the latter we find the second microphone for the suppression of background noise and the input for the 3,5 mm audio jack.
Finally, on the left side there is the case of the two SIM or SIM plus a micro SD card to expand the internal memory up to a further 128 GB, while on the right side there is the power button and the volume bar.
We conclude by bringing you the technical data sheet of this Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and the sales prices of the two variants that differ only in the amount of RAM and ROM memory, so we start from 899 Yuan (about 120 € at the exchange) for the basic version with 2 / 16 GB to get to 1199 Yuan (approx 160 € at the exchange) for the version with 3 / 64 GB.
