The Vivo G2 has a simple but elegant design, with a thin and light body that offers a good grip. The rear panel houses a single 13MP camera with LED flash, while the front is dominated by a 6,56 LCD display with teardrop notch. The screen has an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate, which guarantees greater fluidity in animations and games. The fingerprint reader is integrated into the side power button, and there is also 2D facial recognition to unlock the phone.

Under the body, Vivo G2 hides the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, a 7nm chip with eight cores (two A76 at 2,2 GHz and six A55 at 2,0 GHz) and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU at 950 MHz. The SoC supports 5G SA+NSA connectivity, Wi- Dual band Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS. There RAM memory is LPDDR4X type and varies from 4 to 8 GB, While the internal memory is UFS 2.2 and ranges from 128 to 256 GB, with the possibility of expanding it via microSD. The operating system is Android 13 customized with Origin OS 3, Vivo's user interface that offers several exclusive features, such as memory fusion (which allows you to use part of the internal memory as RAM) and memory compression (which reduces the space occupied by apps).

La Vivo G2 battery is 5.000 mAh and supports the quick charge from 15W via USB-C port. The phone also has wired reverse charging feature. The phone is equipped with a jack input from 3,5 mm for headphones.

Vivo G2 is available in China at starting price of 1199 yuan (154 euros), for the 4GB / 128GB version. It is not yet known whether the Vivo G2 will also arrive in other markets, we hope so as it seems like an interesting product for those looking for a cheap smartphone but with satisfactory performance.
