Living, the well-known Chinese manufacturer that has already launched the vivo X Fold 2 in April 2023. Now, less than a year later, vivo is preparing to present the new ones vivo X Fold 3 e X-Fold 3 Pro, which promise to be an important leap in quality compared to the previous generation.

The technical specifications of the two devices that make up the series, the vivo X Fold 3 and the vivo X Fold 3 Pro, were revealed by a post on Weibo by the famous leaker Digital Chat Station, which confirmed some rumors that had already circulated previously. Both smartphones will have a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, with one 6,53-inch external screen it's one internal 8,01 inches, both of type AMOLED and with 120 Hz refresh rate. The main difference will be in the resolution, which will be higher on theX Fold 3 Pro, which will have a 2K+ LTPO screen, while the 'The X Fold 3 will be satisfied with a Full HD+ screen.
Even on the battery front, the two models will have a different capacity: the vivo X Fold 3 will have a battery from 5.600 mAh, while the vivo X Fold 3 Pro will have a battery from 5.700 mAh. Both will support the 100W fast charging, but only the X Fold 3 Pro will also have it 50W wireless charging. Another distinctive element of the Pro version will be the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated into the display, a more advanced and secure technology than the optical one.
As regards the photographic sector, the two smartphones will have three rear cameras of 50 megapixels each, but only the X Fold 3 Pro will have a periscope lens for the telephoto lens, which will allow for a higher optical zoom. The front cameras, however, will be 16 megapixels on thetheX Fold 3 and 32 megapixels on'X Fold 3 Pro.
Finally, the heart of the two devices will be made up of latest generation Snapdragon processors: vivo X Fold 3 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the vivo X Fold 3 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the most powerful and performing at the moment. This choice will allow vivo to offer two different options to consumers, one cheaper and one more premium, capable of competing with rivals from Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi.
