OnePlus had announced its first foldable smartphone later this year, and now it looks like the wait might be short. According to whistleblower Max Jambor, OnePlus' foldable device will make its debut in August of this year. The date comes as no surprise, considering that OnePlus has traditionally launched its new smartphones in August. However, the launch of the OnePlus foldable will take place in a market already crowded with similar products, with Samsung already planning the launch of its Galaxy Z Fold 5 for July.
Furthermore, Google is working at its first leaflet which should arrive in June. The specifics of the device are still unknown, but an earlier leak has suggested it could be called "OnePlus V Fold”. Other rumors indicate that it could have an internal 8-inch screen, a processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and a triple camera consisting of a main sensor from 50 megapixel, an ultrawide from 48 megapixel and a telephoto lens from 64 megapixel. However, there is still no official confirmation from OnePlus regarding the specifications.
